Student's Of Baltimore

One of the boy's (Montrey) from the movie came out and said ' I think that people think a kid from baltimore is supposed to grow up to be nothing'. 

 I think he feels like this because he's surroundings dont really try and help him succed or anything. The schools dont have everything that they need to help them do the best they can. If i went to a school like that i would feel the same way. Every time he goes somewhere he see's drug dealers on the street fights ect. If thats what you see everyday your gonna start thinking that its okay to do what they're doing, and then u turn in the sterotype they want you to be. You drop out of school and turn to the streets. This is why he feels like's everybody thinks like that because the majority of baltimore kids grow up and become nothing.  I've never experienced anything like this my school trys there best to help us suceed and make sure we have the things we need that could make us the best students. Were the total opposite i mean we do have things that could be better but our teachers do actually try and teach us stuff and tell us what we need to do to be the most successful we can be.
