The boys of baraka growed up in the typical projects. It was either go to school make something of your self, become a drug dealer or gang banger and get locked up or be killed.    And for those boys there parent or gradians want there kids to grow up and finsh school  and go to collage so they can  make something of there self's because having an education as a young black man in baltmore would be a very big thing but at the moment all the kid were doing bad at school getting trouble,

 suspendended, and fighting but suddently the teacher got some new about a good oppertunety for the boys it was a trip to africa to go to a school called Baraka. after watching this movie i feel like i can relate to these boys because  i use to live in a very nice place but once i moved to urbana i saw alot of boys get caught up in that life
