They are trying to get the person looking at the ad to go out and buy the shoe by telling them that the shoes can make you 'fly' in two ways. Look wise and also saying that they wouldn't have to drive anymore. This ad uses Pathos because its gonna make you feel real cool when you buy them because of what they are saying in order for you to want them and if you don't get them its gonna make you feel like your lame or something. I think this add is effective in some ways but its really plane it doesn't really grab your attention unless you read it its not really colorful or anything. If they were to add more things to it or even more colors.
